What’s notable it that the sentiment is pretty bad still with equities being so high. Fear&Greed Index is in the low 40s. This shows that we’re having a typical wall of worry being built on equity markets. Waiting for the ATHs to be passed soon in such a case most possibly.

๐ The week started with continued massive volatility in $BTC, as the token was rebounding double digits after a tumultous sell-off last week. But this is not our asset here, so let’s get to the point. Equities gained on Monday led by Techs. But shares of airlines, cruise lines and similars also gained nicely. Buy-the-dip mentaliy builds up in general – remember last decade???
๐ Tuesday struggled for direction really. $AMZN (Amazon) came under some pressure after Attorney General Karl Racine said he’s about to sue the eCommerce giant for unfair practices and pricing policies. Eventually the stock ended tiny up though.
๐ CNBC: โThe market is basically in a holding pattern until the next big event, which is the Fedโs tapering schedule (or not tapering schedule),โ Tom Essaye, founder of Sevens Report, said in a note. โUntil we have more clarity on Fed tapering and the longer-term outlook for inflation, we should expect this type of incremental volatility.โ – I agree with that fully.
๐ On Wednesday $DJ30 celebrated its 125th birthday ๐ฅณ๐ฅณ๐ฅณ. Stocks stayed choppy. As they also did on Thursday.
๐ On Friday the markets traded slightly in the green, but gave it away in the last hour of trading.
๐ On the Commodity front $GOLD has been gaining momentum lately. I have written a post on this here: etoro.tw/3udCIcd
